Program Coordination and Development

This is a permanent feature of the Rio Negro Program, which has the responsibilities of: (a) developing and maintaining appropriate inter-institutional relations, especially with partner organizations; (b) formulating proposals and submitting them to funding organizations; (c) writing narrative reports and monitoring program expenses; (d) proposing and facilitating future directions for the program to take; (e) providing information about the Rio Negro region and the program’s activities through ISA’s main communication channels; (f) organizing and producing publications about the Rio Negro; (g) facilitating connections among the various teams and activities involved in the different projects of the program, and between the program and ISA’s headquarters; and (h) building and mobilizing a network of outside researchers and collaborators.
